Boston College Alumni Association Wine Tasting

Nov. 2, 2019

  • 5:00pm — 8:00pm

Please join with BC friends and alumni to support Turning Wine Into Water (TWIW) in their mission to provide clean water sources for the poorest of the poor. Currently, TWIW is in the process of funding the extension of a pipeline bringing clean water to 13000 inhabitants of a remote Ethiopian area where the only source of water was a rain fed pond the inhabitants shared with both domestic and wild animals of the area.

Tonight, you can taste an array of wines from around the world provided by Village Wine Importers. Prior to the tasting, we will hold a seminar helping you to know when to find "l'ordeur de la basse-cour" acceptable in wine along with helping consumers and collectors alike with knowing how to and when to buy wine economically. A portion of any orders placed during the evening with representatives from Westport's renown wine merchants, Greens Farms Spirits, will benefit TWIW's water pipeline project in Ethiopia.

This is an excellent opportunity to show the dedicated spirit of Boston College Alumni's Fairfield County Chapter while sampling a wide array of excellent wines.
